How it works.
Join the 300+ students being impacted, and counting.
As students with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley, we are committed to expanding access to computer science education for the next generation. Despite rapid advancements in technology, artificial intelligence, and the broader field of computer science, access to quality education in these areas remains limited, especially due to financial barriers and unequal opportunities across communities.
Computer Science Scholars aims to close this gap by offering free, high-quality computer science instruction to middle school students. At the same time, we empower experienced high school students in STEM to give back by teaching, earning nationally recognized service awards, gaining valuable community service hours, and receiving personalized college admissions guidance by students from the best universities in the nation, all for free.

You're assigned at a chapter location, then you meet up with fellow experienced students to get this journey going. Collaborate and assign tasks based on lesson plans assigned monthly.
